J: Why did you leave the Wailers
P: I never left myself, mon. It was belittling my integrity. I taught Bob Marley. How can you compare the teacher with the taught? I and I and the devil are at war. The devil make Marley leader of the band. I had no desire follow the path of destruction.”
J: Are you saying that Bob Marley is a devil?
P: Bob Marley is dead, mon.
After Bob Marley's death, during a rehearsal Peter Tosh saw the picture of Bob Marley on the Wall of the studio, he brusted Bob's eyes and said that he refused to record with a dead man who look at him, probably because the Rasta have a other perception of the death. These tapes are in the Tosh estate.
